1. The service
ONE SECOND lets a purchaser select one UTC second, or a consecutive range of up to 60 seconds, and display an approved name, message, and optional media at each selected second every day during the five-year service term. The service is delivered digitally and does not involve physical shipping.
2. Meaning of “ownership”
“Ownership” means a contractual right to use the selected display slot within ONE SECOND for the stated service term. It does not create ownership of time, a clock value, a trademark, a domain name, or any property outside the service.
3. Purchases and slot availability
A slot is not secured merely by opening the purchase form. A temporary reservation may be created during checkout. All selected slots become sold only after the payment provider confirms payment and ONE SECOND records the completed purchase. Failed, cancelled, or expired reservations may be released automatically.
4. User content
You must have the rights necessary to submit your display name, message, image, GIF, link, or other content. You grant ONE SECOND a limited license to host, process, resize, cache, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the service.
5. Prohibited content
Content may not violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy or publicity rights, or contain malware, scams, impersonation, unlawful sexual content, credible threats, or other material that creates legal, security, or safety risk.
6. Moderation and reports
Users may report displayed content. ONE SECOND may review reports and may hide media, remove links, replace content with a moderation placeholder, or take other proportionate action when necessary to comply with law, payment-provider requirements, platform rules, security requirements, or these Terms.
7. Service availability and technical operation
ONE SECOND may update its technical implementation, hosting, payment provider, security systems, or moderation systems. Reasonable efforts will be made to preserve valid paid display rights and restore service following technical interruptions.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. Where a refund is completed, the related display slot may be released and made available for purchase again.
9. Operator information
Required business and operator information is provided on the ONE SECOND website. Customers may use the contact method shown on the website for purchase, refund, privacy, or legal inquiries.
